I began painting later in life, after learning that my biological father was a gifted impressionist who trained for a short time in Chicago with the Yugoslav Impressionist Georg Cermak. Largely self-taught (though I’m an avid consumer of workshops and online tutorials), I paint and draw for pleasure and to shed light on the beautiful, troubling, inspiring, and sometimes hidden aspects of the visual world. I occasionally sell paintings and paints upon request.
